A woman with platinum blonde hair styled in braids, wearing dark eye makeup, black clothing, and jewelry including earrings, necklaces, and a feathered accessory on her shoulder, standing against a wooden background.
Three polyhedral dice with a marbled black and brown pattern and gold numbering, used for tabletop role-playing games, set against a black background.

Brownstone Has Opened their Ports…

Brownstone has always been the “little brother” to Saltpier. Now, they’re opening their ports to outsiders in the hope of gathering new trade, new blood, and new connections.

The Griswold Family has worked with the House of Harkness to create a new port for deep shipping, and hopes that this may be the means to politically outmaneuver Saltpier Island.

But now payment is due, and the House of Harkness sees that they may be able to get a bit more than expected. Not only that, but Saltpier doesn’t look too favorably on those trying to fuck them over.

Now, all sides are looking to the newcomers, and are offering contracts for crafters, politicians, mercenaries, and those who deal with the seedier side of things. Who will you side with, and what will you get out of it?

A young man sitting casually, holding a bottle, wearing layered clothing, a necklace, and a bandana around his neck, with a dark background and sepia tones.
Set of six red and black polyhedral dice with ornate designs, including a d20, d12, d10, d8, d6, and d4, used for tabletop role-playing games.

Event Themes

As always, we recommend that each participant read through the site to determine if this is the sort of event that they’d like to participant in. Bloodstained Brownstone is an 18+ online event and deals with the themes of:

Sea adventures, sailing, ship-to-ship combat, environmental threats such as rough seas and storms, violence, combat, drugs, death, zombies, simulated torture, Raiders, water, black market dealings, local fictional politics, fictional religions, murder, and body horror.

While we try to disclose the main themes that you may encounter, there may be other themes and scenarios that crop up during the event. We encourage each participant to know their own limits, and to feel empowered to remove themselves from any scene that they may not be up for in order to best enjoy the event.

Three soldiers in military gear, including helmets, masks, and tactical vests, posing with a woman in the center who is also in military clothing, all in a dim, gritty setting.
A green transparent 20-sided die with white numbering, viewed from an angle showing multiple faces.

What to Expect

For our online events using our Discord, you will be able to go on a series of tabletop-like modules, interacting with various characters in role-play areas, and also have out-of-character channels for hanging out. For our online events, we recommend that you acquire a camera and be in costume. We have a few text-only role-play areas, but the majority of our rooms focus on video and speech to help bring people into the scene. If you plan to go on modules, please note that you will need to have voice chat activated.

Our normal tickets come with 2 online scenarios and access to our role-play areas, and our VIP tickets come with 3 online scenarios and access to our role-play areas. Our role-play only tickets allow access into our role-play areas where our fully fleshed out NPCs will be. Before the event, we will publish a full schedule of modules and also role-play scenes and character appearances in the role-play areas so you can schedule your event appropriately.
